Introduction	I am a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend and the mother of two beautiful boys. My first son, Noah, was born on September 16, 2008, but he never took a breath because of a cord accident that occurred while I was in labor. My husband (Mark) and I will grieve the loss of our firstborn forever, but we also will always consider Noah to be an incredible blessing in our lives and hopefully in the lives of others as well. He is a member of our family in his own unique way. On January 31, 2010, our second son came into the world healthy and alive, with his eyes wide open to greet us. We named him Asher because it means happy or blessed, and the blessing of his presence has done more to restore our happiness than we ever could have imagined. I tend to ramble and we live in Maine, so the title for this blog seemed appropriate (though Mark thinks the Mainely thing is overdone).
