| Introduction | I am a woman, an Indian, a writer and a Christian. I live in Vellore in India. I love my boys, my books, my cat and my mother - not necessarily in that order. I began my writing career seriously after my husband Kumar died in 1997. I began with "I Will Lie Down In Peace," the story of how our family came to terms with kumar's terminal illness and how we helped him die with dignity in our own home. I also help women with AIDS come to terms with their disease. I am a writer of two Value and Peace Education series. A Child's Path was authored by me and published by Macmillan. Living In Harmony is a Value and peace education series published by oxford Uni press; It's a book for classed 1-8 written by me and other multi faith, multi authors. I have a wonderfully large family. Jamaes, John and Mallika are Jesudasans.Suresh, selvaraj and now thenmoli are my foster children who have enriched my life so much. |
| Interests | I love reading and writing. Music is one of my passions. I was a child of the 60's and lived in the UK and realte well to the musioc of the next few decades as well. I enjoy cooking and find it very creative. I love being with people. Right now my great interest lies in Peace education. |
