Introduction	I love to quilt and sew since I was very young. My mom introduced me to quilting in 1979 and began a life-long love of this artform. It began with a few simple hand applique' and hand quilted pillows and soon included baby quilts and small items for the home. With each sale or a blue ribbon, the love and enjoyment for sewing only grew stronger. I have a wonderful Christian husband and we share grown children and growing grandchildren. Our sewing group,Sisters of the Heart, meet once a week and we do everything from sewing for preemie babies in NICU to making lap quilts for friends in the hospital or local nursing homes or hospice. All the ladies enjoy the fun and companionship of knowing one of the "Sisters" will be there for the other whatever comes up.
