| Introduction | I am a husband and a father of five beautiful children ages 10-19. Gayle and I have been married for 29 years. We are pastors (officers) in The Salvation Army completing 22 years of ministry at the end of June 2013. I graduated from university in 1983 with my BA. The following year I completed a 4 year concurrent education degree. For the next five years, I taught in the Peel Board of Education in the Elementary stream. Gayle with post secondary education in accounting, worked for a reinsurance company and then a large gold mining company. Responding to God's call upon our lives, we entered the Salvation Army College in Toronto (1989) for an intensive two year period of training. Following our ordination and commissioning in 1991, we have ministered as youth pastors in Scarborough Ontario, and as pastors of congregations in Simcoe Ontario, Toronto Ontario, Calgary Alberta, and now here in Woodstock Ontario. |
