IntroductionRayona Visqueen is Robin Worley, a fine artist and fashion designer who makes her home on the Big island of Hawaii. Her first experience with trash fashion design was in 1986 as a model for Polly Ethylena, the founder of Haute Trash (www.hautetrash.org). 8-8-88 was Rayona's first chance at designing with trash, and she just never stopped. Her focus is one of community, and Rayona has produced many shows in many communities over the years. She conceived the fashion portions of such annual events as The Art of Trash at the East Hawaii Cultural Center in Hilo, Hawaii and the annual Recycled Art & Fashion Show sponsored by The RE Store in Seattle, Washington. Rayona tours a mini show each summer, when she can, with the New Old Time Chautauqua, an all volunteer traveling educational vaudeville extravaganza dedicated to love, laughter and community (www.chautauqua.org). Robin (aka Rayona) has presented workshops in Trash Fashion design to students at Hilo High School, OPEPO School in Port Townsend WA, SeaTac Occupational High School in Seattle and McMurray Middle School on Vashon Island.
