| Introduction | My name is Arielle Dani Lebovitz, but my friends call me Dani. I am a Registered Dietitian married to a pilot in the United States Air Force. My undergraduate coursework was completed at Colorado State University and dietetic internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Following my internship I was hired to work at Hopkins as a Relief Dietitian and Internship Assistant. Since then I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including private nutrition consulting, teaching classes, and a dialysis unit. Currently, I am working towards a Master’s of Science in Health Communication through Boston University. I also work for Federal Occupational Health through Civilian Health Promotion Services on Robins Air Force Base educating the base population of 25,000 through a variety of classes and cardiac risk profile health screenings. My passion and motivation is to help people become healthier, both individually and as a community. Working in a variety of settings has opened my eyes to the difference one person can make by providing education and encouragement. The purpose of this blog is to reach people on a broader scale. |
