When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?

I was a lifeguard for a many years so when I open my eyes under water, the only thought that comes to mind is saving someone else's life... The thought of worrying that Ill drown doesnt come until after and sometimes not even until your out of water safe & alive thinking "What if?" -- weird how that happens.
