| Introduction | We are the Global Vets team from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, Saskatoon. Global Vets is a program organized by students aimed to investigate animal health care in developing countries. This year, we have 2 groups of students, rotating through projects in Uganda & Tanzania from May through July 2008. These rotations will permit us to spend more cumulative time at each individual project while maximizing the number of projects we can attend, allowing us to gain a broader knowledge and appreciation of the different management system and transmission of zoonoses between livestock and wildlife. |
