Introduction	Unwilling to fully abandon my Chicago-area upbringing, I live in Manhattan with my husband and a 13 lb. rabbit, Tycho Bunnae, but insist on calling soda "pop" and sneakers "gym shoes." Currently, I am writing a book about unusual attractions in New York City, due from Cumberland House Publishing in Spring 2008. Before I decided to be a writer, I earned a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University. I've worked in community development and public policy for ten years.
