|Introduction||Jeffrey B. Allen lives in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he consults in the field of architectural design and historical renovation, although most of his time is devoted to writing. He is a member of the Lehigh Valley Writers Symposium, and sits on the board of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group. Allen holds his 50-ton Coast Guard Captain’s license and has captained numerous ocean-going sailing adventures. In 2006, Mr. Allen was awarded the Holt Businessman of the Year award by the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce. His debut novel, GoneAway Into the Land is quickly being discovered by adolescents and adults alike. Allen teaches writing at Northampton Community College and is a Fellow of the Penn State Chapter of the national Writing Project.|
