Introduction	I'm a former defense financial analyst and small business consultant turned stay at home mom. I love to sew and make all kinds of stuff, mostly for kids. I give away all kinds of cool stuff to my friends and almost everyone says "hey, sell this stuff!!" So I am on Artfire, and I will use this blog to share my tips, tricks, and generally mad love for all things textile and craft related. I have a filthy mouth and a terribly embarrassing sense of humor too. I'm also pretty severely dyslexic and dyscaluclic, plus ADHD. It makes for quite a challenge in following patterns as I have a lot of trouble following things spatially, so just about everything I make with a few rare exceptions, is stuff I had to dream up in my own wacked out head. I think having learning disabilities makes me more creative, and I think out of the box. I was diagnosed pretty late in life after a lifetime of being yelled at for being stupid, lazy, and not focusing and hyperfocusing on the wrong things. I sorta kinda hope to be some sort of inspiration for those who've been told their whole lives that they're stupid and they don't think right.
