| Introduction | I am a Platonist contemplative ascetic, renunciant, eremitical monastic, mystic and philosopher of many years standing tenuously and anachronistically surviving alone and without support. I am celibate, a most ardent moral vegan, teetotalling, don't have a car or a television, don't attend entertainments or social events, etc. Apart from what is necessary to maintain this psycho-physical organism, I devote all my time and energy to contemplation and study to attain re-union with the Absolute and release from the cycle of reincarnation. The purpose of this blog, and of my videos at youtube.com/c/EricFallick and of my page at independent.academia.edu/EricFallick, is to try to assist and reach out to any other of the very few real contemplative ascetics and renunciants following an actual otherworldly, world-denying spiritual Path that may be left in this dark age of modernity of unprecedented hostility to any sort of genuine and especially renunciant spiritual life. |
