| Introduction | Eivor has translated fifteen of Strindberg's plays into English. They are all published by Amber Lane Press. She has also written a biography, Strindberg and Love, which she translated into Swedish where it was published under the title Lite djävul,lite ängel, Strindberg och hans kvinnor. Eivor has given a number of talks about Strindberg, both in Sweden and in England. She has received literary prizes from The Swedish Academy, The Swedish Writers' Union and BCLA. Apart from the Strindberg translations, she has written five novels and three stage plays, translated a further thirty odd plays from Swedish and Norwegian into English and several of her adaptations have been broadcast on BBC. |
