Introduction	I've been through the ringer but I'm OK. I am blessed with a wonderful wife, three amazing adult children and their spouses, five incredible and adorable grandchildren, and our great dog Molly. While on this journey in life, God has been very real, very patient and even more forgiving. I am very thankful. I am pastor at two churches in Georgia, just outside of Chattanooga, TN, just across the state line.
Interests	Music, reading, hiking, kayaking, exploring/travel.
Favorite movies	Signs, The Man Who Went Up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain, Lord of the Rings (trilogy), Harvey, The Passion of the Christ, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, to name a few.
Favorite music	All kinds but not rap. Huge fan of Van Morrison - Jackson Browne - Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young (together and apart) - Yes - Keith Jarrett - William Ackerman - just to name a few. Search for TethrdSol in Amazon Music, Spotify or Pandora to get a taste of some good music in what I hope are a myriad of interesting and diverse playlists.
Favorite books	The Bible, Brother Cadfael Mysteries, David Manuel Mysteries, The Secret Life of the Soul, David Adam books, Stephen Lawhead books, Donald Miller books.

What's the most amount of sand you've ever had in your swimming trunks?

It wasn't the sand in my swimming trunks that caused me problems. It was the sand that was elsewhere on my body that I found quite disturbing!
