| Introduction | Ecuadorian choreographer, dancer and actor, researcher of Indonesian dances and culture. Currently, he is in Indonesia to keep studying independently traditional arts: dance, gamelan, wayang orang, jemparingan (traditional archery), pencak silat (local martial art), jemparingan (javenese archery), batik, etc., at various pendopos and art workshops. He travels across the Indonesian villages in search of local traiditional arts and wisdom to learn techniques, philosophy and the misticism behind them. He has carried out numerous dance collaborations and workshops with Indonesian artists, taking his own culture with him and merging it with the local one, in order to get both cultures closer. |
