IntroductionI’ve got 91 years of history and experience to share.I was born in Prague but didn’t stay there for long. My parents moved to Argentina in 1935, when I was still a teenager. They restarted life in Buenos Aires (Argentina) where I put down roots and built a family. Argentina is still home for me. Nowadays, I spend most of my time writing. Writing a side of history that doesn’t appear in books. The thread of everything is the two world wars of which I was a witness, directly and indirectly. Not only through what my entire family, friends and myself faced, but also through a close contact with my father Frantisek Kaderabek. He held important posts in the Czechoslovakian government during that time and gave me insider knowledge of significant facts that changed the course of history in many countries and the course for thousands of people.
InterestsI started writing a long time ago. It was a way to tell my family who my father was. To avoid letting all I know fall into oblivion. Now, I came to like it and I should say that it became my second nature. Do not expect an elaborated language. My writing is simple. Accounts and facts. It has to be said that it isn’t an easy task for me. In the past years, I’ve been struggling with poor vision. I can barely see. But an awful amount of optimism, a magnifier, a typewriter and the help of my granddaughter Luana Kaderabek enabled me to pass on what I know and has never been told before in history. All that because lovers of history, like myself, deserve to come across this other version of the facts.
