You can punch a hole in an apple using a straw. How do you think that makes your milkshake feel?
It makes my milkshake feel less deficient and weak- it's empowering its spirit. It's okay that a straw can penetrate me- it even can penetrate an apple. I admire an apple's strength I am not such a weak food anymore: I can be as tough as an apple. I can do something with myself.
