| Introduction | Normally I write and illustrate children's books. This is my first blog, my first foray into a graphic novel. I originally wrote this as a straight-forward memoir, but the graphic format allows explorations that only writing doesn't. Since I think in pictures as much as in words, I'm hoping this graphic memoir will finally express what's been so hard for me to capture on the page. |
