| Introduction | I will never forget the day and the photograph that inspired me to pursue this passion further – it was October 20th, 2007. I was driving home from work and the sky was magnificent. I pulled out my little Olympus point and shoot and took an amazing photo of an airplane that looks like it is about to be engulfed by the clouds. That was the day that started it all for me. For two years, I photographed artistically with just this point and shoot camera and found some satisfaction but it wasn’t enough. In December of 2008, I finally received my first SLR – an Olympus Evolt 510. I immediately took an intro to photography class so I could learn the basics about shutter speeds, aperture, and ISOs. So here I want to share my passion and my art. Thus far, I’ve had some amazing opportunities with photography, and I am and continue to be grateful for those opportunities and for the wonderful family and friends that I have that believe in me. |
