Introduction	Not all of us are heading up perfect nuclear families, for so many different reasons. My reasons include IVF, gay and lesbian parenting, and slightly offbeat unconventional wisdom. Many of us are growing our families outside of tradition and the box. And loving it. If you're looking for advice on raising a perfect family, and well behaved children, you probably wont find it here. But if you're looking for perspective, well we have plenty of that. I wish I could also offer you the use of my nanny and cleaner, but I'm afraid I may miss my vacuum and tv a bit too much. jokes.
