| Introduction | Originally immersed in the world of books, I had an opportunity for the last 15 years of my career to manage and programme an arts complex. I was extremely fortunate as it opened up a new world of theatre, music and, eventually, mining art - which led to the joint authorship of 6 books to date and the curating of both local and national touring exhibitions. Look out for the opening of the Mining Art Gallery in Bishop Auckland in the Old Bank Chambers building which will be home to The Gemini Collection of mining art which I jointly own with my writing partner. |
