Introduction	I'm a nurse anesthetist in neurosurgery. I'm also kind of an old lady - with three grown kids. Seems like everyone I know who blogs is young and hip. I am NOT young, nor am I hip. But I like the idea of having a place to write about what happens in my life. I guess I don't really care if anyone reads my blog. I think I write it because it feels good. I reflect on old memories, things I've learned and things I enjoy. Sometimes I record thoughts I have about things that have happened to me or special family gatherings I've enjoyed. Some of my blogs I publish, Many I leave in my 'Drafts Folder." How I decide which to publish and which to save is a mystery even to me.
