Introduction	Entering community college at the age of 15 with her buzzed hair, sometimes green, sometimes black, blonde, or brown, Hovland began taking design courses. Immediately, she realized her passions in acting, physical education, and traditional art were second to that of graphic design. Hovland soon had a fun design job that didn't interfere much while she continued her AA and AAS in Visual Communications. Hovland currently attends the University of Washington where she is majoring in Design Studies. Recently, she has become increasingly more interested in photography and spends an enormous amount of time on flickr. --this is the mini-version of my life, obviously. :P
