| Introduction | Is to review and critique black movies,We'll be covering movies starring, written by, produced and financed by blacks.we will highlight blacks in leading and supporting roles.We will track the artist previous work as well as future projects,This is a blog to show what we are doing in every aspect of film now and from past decades. There will be a section entitled " old school actor of the month " to highlight the contributions of actors from the past that some of us have never heard of, We'll do this with bios detailing the body of work & accomplishments they have amassed throughout their careers, This will help us see the tremendous strides we've made in the past and help us understand that we didn't just get talented, we've always been talented so we can appreciate those who paved the way for some of our favorite entertainers of today. The rating scale for the movies are as follows 1 reel- wack flik ( snoring in theatre ) 2 reels- ok flik ( worth buying a dvd/ bootleg ) 3 reels- good flik ( worth the trip to the theatre ) 4 reels- great flik ( worth sneaking in for another viewing ) 5 reels- straight classic ( see it over and over and never get tired of it ) |
