| Introduction | I am a Christian, saved by grace, a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I am married for over 40 years to my high school sweetheart. I started quilting in my late 20's (before rotary cutters!) and am completely self-taught. For various reasons, I have never been able to take a quilting class, although I have participated in many, many swaps and block of the month programs. I use mostly machine piecing and almost exclusively a hand-quilter. I really enjoy hand-quilting and am looking to better my hand-appliqué techniques and quilting stitches. My family certainly does not care how perfect my quilts are, they are just happy to receive them. Happy Quilting |
