Introduction Main Blog: ComposerPA.com (aka PardessRimonim.blogspot.com) -------- I was born about four decades ago in Iran to Pouran and Aziz Akhlaghi. Since the early 1990's, I have lived and studied in my adopted homeland, the United States, and I have received my advanced education in classical music composition at the University of California, Los Angeles. In my blogs, I'll be writing of my life and my ideas on music, cinema, arts and literature, Judaism, and the world around me, the way I see it. *************************************** As a secular Iranian-American-Jewish artist and scholar, I find it neither truthful nor desireable to deny the effects that such an hyphenated ethnic background has had on my life so far. And yet, I'm convinced that one's true identity lies not in preordained matters of birth, religion, or ethnic origins, but in his mind, his heart, and his way of life. - - - - - - - - - - - Please contact me using the email link on the page.
