Introduction	I was born and raised on a cattle ranch on the Alberta Montana border. My heart is still in that region and I love travelling there, visiting old friends, taking pictures and writing about them. I was introduced to the local coffee shop when I was only 15 and I still remember the stories that came out of that tiny place. My short stories are largely about that place although there are some exerpts from a novel (Lottery) that I wrote and published back in 2000.
Interests	Photography, Reading, writing, antique mechanical things like cars, trucks, tractors, motorcyles, aircraft. I love seeing my family and doing things with my grandkids.
Favorite movies	Officer and a Gentleman, A League of Their Own, Trading Places, Airplane, Das Boot, Stripes, Titanic, Deja Vue, The Sting, The Godfather.
Favorite music	ABBA, Bob Seger, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Eagles, CCR, Tammy Wynette, Lacy J. Dalton, John Mellencamp.
Favorite books	Raise the Titanic, Without Remorse, Eye of the Needle, Rich Man Poor Man, Assault on a Queen, Night Without End.
