| Introduction | I am a long-time professional writer, with extensive experience in journalism, art writing, copywriting, and more. I spent years as the Director of Communications for several organizations, including Trump University and the School of Visual Arts in New York. As a freelance ghostwriter, biographer, and copywriter I’ve worked with clients of all types. My essays and articles have appeared in many publications, including Spin, Time Out New York, Art Papers, etc. Prior to becoming a professional writer, I was a musician and performer, beginning in Pittsburgh as a singer and bassist with various punk bands. I then moved to New York and started performing as Adam Quest on the Lower East Side—styling myself a neo-vaudevillian with a downtown edge (billed variously as the Digital Gypsy, Cyberpoet, and the Sammy Davis, Jr. of the Underground). My performances evolved into a mixed media barrage of film, video, music, and spoken word. I also did street performances and conceptual works, such as “Dossier of Untruth,” which infiltrated the media with specious characters and their exaggerated ideas.
