| Introduction | I am a christian wife 27+ yrs and mother of 4 ,ages 19-25, 3 boys and the youngest a girl. I am a USAF vet of 10+ yrs including an overseas tour during the gulf war. I worked as an Alcohol and Drug Rehab couselor, treated both mental health in/out pts and eating disorders pts, as well as pts suffering physical dissabilities and illnesses ie; orthopedic injuries specializing in hand rehab, stroke, cardiac, neuro and all other physical illness and disease. From my military side I worked as supervisor/chief of clinic, AF DECON team chemical decontaminiation, Moulage team- making up of faux casualities for mass casulty training which was challenging but fun, not for those with a weak stomach.I am still amazed at the training an opportunities provided to me while serving in AF, I learned and accomplished more than I ever felt capable of. They truly challange you to surpass yourself in both fear and abilities. I am gratful and proud to have served my country, and we loved our time in England getting to know our British allies and making many friends while there and at our stateside assignments. Friends from everywhere some which last a lifetime. |
| Interests | I am a multi crafter with numerous interests and always looking to learn new crafts and skills. knitting, crocheting, cake decorating, flower arranging + boquets and corsage making, candle and soap making, dried flowers and homemade potpouri, baking, candy making, woodworking, wood carving, painting, jewelry making, metal work, sewing, needlwork-crossstich, needlepoint, embroidery, miniatures, paper crafting of all types-quilling scrapbooks, decopage, clay works, ceramics...and look forward to learning and teaching more. |
