| Introduction | I am a college student at a religion-based university, and I love it, though the downside is missing my brothers and sisters because of the distance that separates me from home. I love to read, and wish I could write well. I love writing spontaneous notes to friends (and strangers) and I have a thing for bright colors. I like to wear flowers in my hair and I LOVE pearls. My family is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm kind of messy but not a pig. I eat fruit like it's candy, and my baby nieces are the cutest little girls ever (until I get married and have little girls of my own). I like to write letters, but don't have near as much time as I'd like to write them. I'm a lover, not a fighter, but sometimes I can't help myself and I take a crack at someone who has hurt me and instantly regret it (think "zingers" a la "You've Got Mail"). I'm alternately an extreme optimist and extreme pessimist. I dream of being a lot of things, but the most realistic ones are kindergarten teacher and wife and mom. Unfortunately, both of those are going to be a while coming, so for now I'm just a dreamer. |
