| Introduction | I am Brenda Figel McGraw Mother to Stephanie 24 yrs Kathrynne 23 yrs Leslie 20 yrs Rahela 13 yrs SN from Ethiopia Kendrick 12 yrs SN domestic and my Nana babies-Kathrynne's Kaiya 4 years Madix 2years. I have been a pediatric RN for 23 years and love what I do. I currently work in a Skilled Nursing Facility for handicapped Children. MY PASSIONS: There are just a few things I have a passion for; like say recycling- it is just something that is easy for me to do and is very important to me, saving the earth for my grandchildren's children. I am passionate about puttering in the yard with the flowers, the hummingbirds, the dirt, the sun, etc. It is like therapy for me. My biggest passion by far though is the saving of the thousands of down syndrome children living, OR RATHER DYING, in the mental institutions of several Eastern European countries. I really want to adopt some of these children myself, and am working to dissolve several obstacles so that I can do that. Follow my blog to learn even more about me. |

| Favorite music | it would be much easier to say what music I don't like, because I like many different kinds of music. I do not, However, like most Country Music, except for Willie of course! LOL and I do not like screaming heavy metal music either... |
| Favorite books | The Poisonwood Bible and all Barbara Kingsolver books, all of Ellen Hopkins books, but especially Identical, All J.A. Jaynce mostly cuz they are written about southern AZ, Tony Hillerman as well for his books about the Navajo Reservation, since my kids and I lived there for years...and they are well written besides |
