| Introduction | In my private practice, I work with children, adolescents, individuals, and families. I have facilitated psycho-educational groups and taught emotional literacy to boys, girls, high school students, mothers, and daughters. I lead workshops on parenting, conflict resolution, healthy choices, and adolescent orientation seminars for high school teachers, and mentors new therapists and counselors. Earning my BA from Sarah Lawrence College and Master of Science in Counseling from Western Connecticut State University, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor in 1998. I live in Kent, Connecticut, with my husband and our three daughters. I have served on the Board of Selectmen, and chaired the Kent Board of Education, the Kent Energy & Environmental Task Force, and the Kent Education & Learning Foundation. |
