Introduction | I lived in Norwood, which is a way cooler neighborhood than most people think. In 1981 I graduated from Xavier University with a Political Science degree, and have been wandering through a series of eclectic jobs while trying to decide what to be when I grow up ever since. I met my husband over a dead body. It belonged to a dinosaur, and I was a volunteer fossil-prep tech. Since I was 15, I have been a volunteer education program animal handler at the Cincinnati Zoo, so I know many weird animal related facts and may be in your vacation pictures. Dinosaurs, science fiction, and working as a volunteer science educator have been my life long passions. Writing is a new addition to that group. I have been writing seriously since 2001. In 2005 I put that PoliSci degree to some use by becoming president of Cincinnati Writer's Project. I'm a redhead, allergic to rhino urine, dyslexic, and a breast cancer survivor, not that those things are in any way related. I have several novels in the works |
