| Introduction | I am the Research Development Officer for the Faculty of Engineering and Computing, DCU. The purpose of this blog is to highlight research developments in the Faculty and to give notice of upcoming events. Your comments are always welcome. The Faculty of Engineering and Computing is composed of three Schools: the School of Computing; the School of Electronic Engineering; and the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. Research also takes place in a number of National and University Designated Research Centres: the Research Institute for Networks and Communications Engineering (RINCE); the National Centre for Language Technology (NCLT); the Centre for Digital Video Processing (CDVP)/Adaptive Information Cluster (AIC); and the Materials Processing Research Centre (MPRC).
