| Introduction | Anti-State, was formed in the summer of 2006 in Derry. We felt that the reason for coming together was that there are no Punk outfits locally with the same type of influences as our selves so we decided to DIY-it. At present we are working on our own material as well as doing various covers of the songs that meant a lot from those who have influenced each of us over the years. | Interests | Anti-State comes from the hardcore tradition as we draw on many musical influences such as Anti-sect, Conflict, Flux of Pink Indians, Crass, Discharge, Rudimentary Peni as well many more. |
| Favorite Music | Looking back at the message and politics behind the lyrics we felt that whilst the world has moved on, very little of nothing has has changed. Peoples continue to be oppressed by governments, our earth, its environment and its animals remain increasingly exploited by multinationals.
