Introduction	I've definitely never considered myself an artist before. Even now art only seems to be the way I cope with difficult times, express myself, communicate, and formulate ideas. It could have something to do with growing up in the shadow up best friends who could paint photograph like portraits from age twelve? But overtime, I've learned that I am actually extremely creative, and art isn't just making it look "right." Art is a way of looking at things, really, and it can take whatever form you like. I have an artist's mind, and I'm interested in art therapy as a career. This is what I'm doing in the meantime.
Interests	Altering books, painting, mixed media collage, journaling, collecting quotes, dried roses, and old postcards,singing, smelling flowers, swing dancing, laughing, eating chocolate, children's and behavioral psychology, complex math, butterflies, volunteering, wearing pretty dresses, inspiring, and being inspired.
Favorite movies	Little Miss Sunshine, RENT, and A Beautiful Mind.
Favorite music	Jack Johnson, Regina Spektor, the Beatles, Band of Horses, KT Tunstall... so many, really.
Favorite books	I read everything all the time. I'll take book suggestions!
