Introduction	Just a July writing project. I'm a mom, but don't intend to write a mommy blog. I'm a teacher, though I've taken a long time off to raise my child and move across the country for my husband's job. I'm an East Coast transplant to the State of Jefferson. Always exercising resilience and optimism!
Favorite movies	Chinatown, Breaking the Waves, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Pretty in Pink, James and the Giant Peach, Romeo and Juliet with Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio
Favorite music	I'm a music lover but I listen almost exclusively to artists on Merge, because I've gotten too lazy and too old to find music on my own.
Favorite books	Wallace Stegner, many others, but don't have a going favorite at the moment
