Introduction	http://www.worldinneed.co.uk World In Need (WIN) is a Christian organisation seeking to help people in some of the most disadvantaged areas in the world, to overcome the suffering, poverty and difficulties that they face in their daily lives. Set up in 1991 in response to the crisis facing the Kurdish people in Iraq, our teams have helped victims of the earthquake disaster in Turkey, slum children in Delhi, drug addicts in Thailand, "Smokey mountain" rubbish dump dwellers in northern Philippines, Borana nomads in Kenya, Fulani and Hausa peoples in Nigeria. We have given aid in Kosovo, worked with orphans in Uganda, helped develop jobs in Mombasa, and assisted the refugees in Azerbaijan.
