| Introduction | It has been 6 years and we still have Zion and he is going into the 1st grade this year. He still sees his egg giver every other sat for 2 hours. She has been age out of DCFS and she no longer receives any money under this system. She does not call at all and her actions over the year have taught her that it a cold world out here. We don’t look for anything from her or want anything of her; and at this point we are just trying to live it day by day and make it. I have been working to get my life back and go back to teaching one in the hope to reach one. My fight now is with the court systems as I’m trying to get my case over turned and I hope to go before the board and seek a pardon by the governor; as this is the only way I can have my charge removed from my record. |
