| Introduction | Hello and welcome to my blog:-) My name is Denise Martin and I spend every day with my head in the clouds.Not literally you understand, but from Monday to Friday I'm an aspiring Children's author,(actually it's Monday to Sunday but don't tell my boss.) I'm currently working on my first Children's novel,a fun magical tale involving a cockney Magpie,so like all writer's my creativity takes me 'into the clouds'. However, every weekend I work in a helicopter Flying School and it's a very different type of cloud that's important there! June 30th 2012 was a very special day for me as it was my first step into the world of publishing. My short story 'Charlie Chipstick and the Diamond Robbery,'can now be found in the anthology 'Animal Stew'. A collection of Animal stories for children, published by Manchester Metropolitan University and launched at The Manchester Children's Book Festival.It's all very exciting! |
| Interests | Books,books and more books! Children's Literature in particular. Pets - especially rabbits but I love all animals, Yoga - as and when I can fit it in. |
