Location	Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island, Florida, United States
Introduction	We retired to Anna Maria Island in early 2008. And, although the island is a wonderful place to be during the winter, it is almost unbearable in the summer. So, summer 2008 we spent on Whidbey Island in Puget Sound and we continued our adventures last summer working for 4 months at the McKinley Chalet Resort in Denali National Park Alaska. This summer we are traveling up the US east coast. One of the highlights will be traveling along and hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway.
