Introduction	My trip to Ghana is officially called, "Teaching About Africa: The Daily Lives of Ghanaian People". It is A United States Depart of Education Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program. It is also sponsored by The Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale University. It is also sponsored by PIER's (Programs in International Educational Resources) African Studies Outreach Program, which is also part of Yale University. The trip is designed for 14 teachers who wish to improve their ability to teach about Africa. there was an application process where each perspective participant submitted an application which included an idea to develop curriculum related to Ghana.
