| Introduction | My name is Tammo Meijer. I live in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. At this website you will find photos and reports of my wanderings und trips through nature.I was born in August 1961 in Amsterdam. At the age of 11 years I startet birdwatching in the dunes ( Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen). During my study at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and the beginning of my work as a lecturer at Windesheim nature was still present but not that intensive. Since 2000 I startet again with intensive birdwatchting, encouraged by my son Fabian, who was getting enthousiatic by birds at the age of seven! Since 3 years another occupation has begun: we have joined a ringing group, who rings bird near the Ijssel. |
