Introduction	Cara and David have been married since Oct. 5, 2007. On April 5, 2011 we welcomed Stella Grace Sridharan into our world and just like that our lives were changed forever. Stella was born with a Congenital Heart Defect, TAPVR, and had open heart surgery when she was only 1 week old. When she was almost 3 months old she went into complete heart failure and required ECMO and a 2nd open heart surgery. She is now at home and we are learning how to handle a CHD, cerebral palsy, feeding issues and developmental delays. Aside from all of the extra medical knowledge we have gained, Stella has taught us so much about life and what really is at the heart of it all. Through this blog I hope to share Stella's story, her progress, and the every day lessons, trials, and triumphs we are experiencing as we have the honor of parenting such a special girl.
