| Introduction | In 1970 I married Carl Bruce. We were married for 33 wonderful years before his untimely death in November 2003. I graduated from USU in Family Life Education but decided to make my career that of being a mother to five wonderful children. When they were well into school, I went back to school and earned my English endorsement and began teaching at T.H.Bell Jr. High. Again I went back to school, earning a Masters Degree in Educational Curriculum. After 15 years in the public school system I decided to take my life in a different direction. Three years after the death of my husband I became reacquainted with a childhood friend whose wife had recently passed away. Larry Pierce and I began dating and after 18 months of rekindling a youthful relationship and falling in love, we were married on March 21, 2008. After living in Las Vegas for over two years, we have returned to our home in Pleasant View. Larry is retired now and we are excited for the next chapter in our lives, that of serving an LDS mission in Laie, Hawaii where we will serve in the LDS Temple beginning June 2015. |
| Interests | I have many interests. Some of them are reading, traveling, enjoying family time, sewing and teaching my granddaughters how to sew. |

| Favorite music | I mostly enjoy easy listening music but do listen to country quite often. |
| Favorite books | Almost anything I am reading is my favorite book at that time. |
