| Introduction | My name is Suzanne Hyland and I have decided to create this blog to share Ryan journey with everyone....for those of you who do not know Ryan, he is a 3 and a half year old boy who was diagnosed with a rare form of Luekemia ( JMML ). This disease affects 1 in 1,000,000 children usually under the age of 2..Ryan was diagnosed on November 15th at Sick kids and we have come to understand what a truly amazing place it is ...from the Doctors to the nurses to the volunteers. Ryans still continues to smile as if nothing is wrong, sometimes I think him not fully understanding is probably best as he is so young. As for the rest of us who love him, we are devistated as this is a serious disease and pray every day that he will beat it, so we can enjoy watching him grow-up, go to school, make friends, and become who ever and what ever he wants to become..... |
