Introduction	Veronika is currently studying Health Economics and Policy at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics in Barcelona, Spain. Prior to coming to Spain, she spent six years in Washington, DC, four of which is spent at the George Washington University where she completed her dual degree in International Affairs and History. Veronika's passion for health and human development guides her life choices. Currently, her areas of academic focus are large-scale public health interventions in Africa and Asia, and economic evaluation of health. Veronika's hope is to one day become a leader in the public policy arena, so that she can make policy changes with the greatest impact, most importantly, improve the human condition in underdeveloped regions of the world. Veronika hails from Poland, but spent her childhood in the United States as a result of her parent's migration. She speaks English, Polish, and Spanish (and dabbles in Russian and Portuguese).
