OccupationWriter
LocationFlorida Town
IntroductionWriter for more than 14 years. I've scribbled for the Associated Press and on Capitol Hill as well as a few magazines and newspapers here and there. I've also worked in the ad business, expressing profound ideas in five words or less for Sony, Dell and other big-box retailers. Used to write a couple columns, one was an advice column, "Roommate Doctor," even though I've never had a roommate - but I'm great at tossing around my opinion, as those unfortunate enough to know me can attest. Lately, I've been working on a coming-of-age novel set in a fictitious South Florida town. And yes, someone does get their period - so it's of that variety.
InterestsScrabble and witnessing sincere acts of generosity and love.
Favorite moviesI just recently had my first screenplay produced, "Fugitive Hunters." I would like to make more of them. Many more.
Favorite musicBillie Holiday melts my heart. The Beatles reinvigorate it. And Death Cab for Cutie depletes it all over again.
Favorite booksIf I could write like anyone it would probably be a cross between Hemingway, Zora Neale Hurston, T.S. Eliot, F. Scott and Henry Miller. I'm a dirty romantic, what can I say?

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

Oh flexibility of course. It would be great to cover continents and galaxies with expandability, but what good would that be if you can't sit comfortably on the ground with the locals?
