| Introduction | Welcome to Minnesota Real Estate 101. I've been a part-time realtor in the Twin Cities for 4 years and wanted to find a way to start sharing some of the knowledge I've acquired and creating a central location with topics, questions, and discussions I frequently have with my clients. A little about me. I grew up in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis and graduated high school from Benilde-St. Margaret's (go Red Knights!). An awesome scholarship and desire for warmer weather, took me to Tennessee for college. After 3 years there, I realized what a wonderful place the Midwest truly is despite the periodic cold, so I transferred to Marquette University and finished out my Economics and Spanish degrees in Milwaukee. As a poor college graduate, I moved back in with my parents and started working in the insurance industry. I ended up getting my real estate license in 2008, as way to challenge myself professionally (I love my full time job but felt a little bored at the bottom of the totem pole), because I love looking at houses and negotiating a "deal", and well, if I could make some money from something I thought was fun that sounded like a dream job to me! |
