Introduction	I am a painter, artist and mother who is longing to re-design and decorate my home using my sewing machine, paint and lots of love. (and undoubtedly some elbow grease). I believe in making our home a refuge to come home to; a place where you can relax and enjoy life with your family and friends surrounded by memories. I believe you have to do what you love, and I love interior design, and making everything myself with a limited budget is a challenge I look forward to. So I begin this blog to be part of a community of other bloggers, artists, moms, novice and not so novice interior designers to share ideas and inspire eachother.
Interests	Painting, DIY, making everything yourself, decorating, interior design, running, talking to my girlfriends, eating good food, drinking good wine, hanging with my husband, family and dear friends.

Favorite books	Changes all the time - favorite authors range from J.D. Salinger to Jane Smiley
